02/06/2010, Global Seatrade Award to MAN Diesel&Turbo: At a ceremony on 24 May in the Guildhall building in London, MAN Diesel & Turbo received the prestigious global Seatrade Award in the category Protection of the Marine and Atmospheric Environment. The Seatrade Award was launched in 1988 and, today, it has developed into one of the most respected and recognised global maritime awards scheme. This year, the winning technology came from MAN Diesel & Turbo in the form of the Variable Turbine Area (VTA) for TCA and TCR turbochargers.
